Tucked into a residential pocket of Senzoku in Taito Ward, Yakai invites guests to pick up a microphone and pour a drink from 13:00 in the afternoon until 3:00 the following morning. The space follows the long, narrow layout typical of Japanese snack bars, with counter stools alongside cozy box seats. It has an approachable atmosphere where newcomers feel at home right away. As a spot tailored for song enthusiasts, it is outfitted with JBL speakers and a DAM karaoke system that deliver crisp, resonant sound.

For casual singing during daylight hours, the afternoon karaoke window from 13:00 to 17:00 comes in handy. A solo plan offers a 120-minute session complete with one drink and bar snacks, allowing you to settle in with tea, soft drinks, shochu, or whisky while you work through your favorite songs.

From early evening onward, the bar shifts to all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-sing courses paired with snacks, covering shochu, whisky, and soft drinks. Guests are welcome to bring their own outside food to share around the table. Those planning regular visits can take advantage of the generous bottle-keep selection, spanning domestic shochu standards like Kinmiya, Kuro Kirishima, and Iichiko, as well as imported whiskies including Ballantine's and The Glenlivet.
